As a native Oregonian, I was born and raised in Willamette Valley.  I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in agricultural finance in 1985.  It was then that I began my financing career as a loan officer with Farm Credit Services, and served the ranching and farming community for over ten years.  In 1996, I was recruited to the mortgage lending industry as a real estate loan officer.  Since 1996, I have assisted thousands of families to achieve their dreams of becoming a homeowner.

Since 2005, I have been the co-owner of Stepping Stone Mortgage, Inc.  We are a local mortgage brokerage, and we are contracted with over 20 different lenders.  Our main focus is to educate our clients on what loan programs are available that best fit their needs, and to walk them through the home buying or refinancing process, step by step.  I have been a longtime member of the local Oregon Mortgage Association Board of Directors, and an instructor for the ABC's of Homebuying class offered through NEDCO. 

My wife and I have been married for over 27 years, and we have three sons.  When I am not working, I enjoy fishing and spending time with my family.
